Local notable, Dr. Linda Patterson on organ, and Axiom Quartet founder, Patrick Moore on cello, presented an evening of familiar hymns paired with baroque and classical music.
The Saint Cecilia’s Series continued this past Saturday evening with the beautiful pairing of Patrick Moore’s cello with Dr. Linda Patterson on St Cecilia’s own single manual organ. These two gifted musicians brought us both familiar hymns, such as Fairest Lord Jesus and a deeply moving arrangement of Deep River, as well as classical pieces from Bach to Saint-Saenz. We are so blessed to have this level of talent available to us.
