All of us at Saint Cecilia’s Round Top are so grateful for all who made this very special service possible and for the almost 200 folks who joined us on Sunday!
Special thanks to our extraordinary musicians Crispin Schroeder, Raymond McDonald, Bobby McDonakd and Tony Miller.
And additional thanks to all our volunteers who moved chairs and furnishings and returned them to the chapel (what a team!) and to Gina and Gary Hillock, Jon Mondrick, and Sandy and Jim Petty for an incredible reception following. We are also grateful to Steven and Cathy Frietsch and the entire Stone Cellar staff, and Judy and Doug Stribling and Farmstead Round Top for your gracious hospitality. Our ushers and greeters and Info Table folks came through for us as well.
It was a powerful service as we contemplated Stevie Ray Vaughan’s music and witness, life and legacy, recovery and redemption. And we thank those who generously contribute to our Saint Cecilia’s Series Fund for making such extraordinary musical offerings available to our community. We are blessed to be part of such a creative community of faith, so filled with love and appreciation.
In the words of Stevie Ray Vaughan: “First and foremost, I thank God!” Indeed we do.
